I like playing Halo 3. I do it quite a bit. But one thing that seems really bothersome is the way Lone wolves plays. I do not enjoy it. The games seem stale and repeditive. There is no variation.

Evernote is an application that lets you store and create notes. Its pretty much a virtual spiral notebook. While the actual application idea for Evernote has been around for a while[2. An early version shipped with my graphics tablet back in 05], it has gotten a recent overhall, and is much nicer to use now.

There are many app launchers out there, and I have blogged about them a few times before. I have found yet another, and this one seems to be the best I have tried. It is Find and Run Robot.
Many forums let you have a signature. Many forums also let you have an avatar. But many forums limit the amount of images you have in your signature, and i have yet to see a forum that lets you have more than one avatar. There is a simple way you can have a signature that rotates on page reloads, or even use it as an avatar. Read on to find out how. You will need PHP, apache, and some images.

This is horribly inefficient, as you have to transfer the files 2 times, and your connection likely isnt too fast. There is a better way. If your webhost or server host is unix, and provides shell access. If this is the case, you can download the file, by sending commands to the server to download it. Qstat is a package that lets you ping game servers or game server masters, and retrieve information and data from them. Many linux packages have this installed by default, but it is quite rare on windows.
Installing it to function on windows exactly as it does on unix is quite easy.

Well, I have been patching in new features to the P-G-Qvm source, and an update can be expected soon.
One of the bigger new features is bleedingSprees and outlaws. These are a new preventitive measure against deconning. Whats that mean? Basically, if you bleed too much in a minute, your base turns against you and shoots you for a time. But if you piss off an admin too much, they can !outlaw you. !outlaw is a flexible command, it allows admins to either add or subtract from someone's bleeder score, set someone as a bleeder, or reset the bleeder value. It also allows an admin to query the amount of bleeder data.
Many bugs will be fixed later today, when i apply the newest patch from rezyn (our 100th issue on the tracker).

<p>Recently, I was at a large IT themed convention, and the guest speakers of the day were the Mythbusters. Adam and Jamie in particular. They came on, talked about the show, and how IT is so important to them for what they do. They showed us some unaired footage of their show, as well as answered the audiences <q>awkward</q> questions.</p> <p>There were no pictures permitted in the auditorium, so i have nothing to show for it. But it was an interesting experience none the less. They claim their worst episode was the one with the rotten pigs in the car. They told us lots of little stories about the filming, idea design, and history.</p> <p>What a neat show.</p>
