Way back when, on my old blog, i had a tutorial on how to say what you were listening to in game. People have requested that i post that tutorial again, so here it is.

If you are looking for the Linux or mac versions of this information, please visit my friend TinMan’s blogpost about it.

<p>This is by no means unique to this blog, but it has taken enough effort to get set up, i feel like sharing it. Now, whenever someone posts a comment, the little info box at the bottom (the thing with their os, browser stats, etc) will show their country too. Nothing too complicated.</p> <p>What sets this aside from most of the other ones i have seen is that this one uses the beautiful famfamfam country icons. Most use some proprietary icon set, that doesn't look as good.</p> <p>Hope you guys enjoy this.</p>

Yet another release of P-G-Qvm. This one is not as big as the other, but still substantial, and introduces quite a few features, as well as a few bugfixes.

For those of you who have been keeping track of my various antics around the web, you may remember something. Today is the anniversary of Paradox Designs v1.0. That site only lasted a few months, whereas this one has already matched and surpassed it in life. The old site was located at http://paradoxd.com (quite a mouthful, having to tell people to go to paradoxD, d as in the letter d), and was not as mature as this one is.

While there is very little in common between the 2 sites, they both feature one thing. Quality.

For those of you who are friends on my facebook account (you know who you are), I have added a feature to my page there, that ties in with this blog. When i post an update, it will appear on my newsfeed too. It will also show up in a small content box on the site.

Hope you guys enjoy this.

I have ranted about this many times in the past, but i feel that another such complaint is in order. Apple removed computer from its name last January. Since then, they seem to have inserted iPhone in its place. Most of Apple’s announcements since the announcement of the iPhone have been iPhone or iPod related. Is Apple loosing focus on what rebuilt it, and are we in for another bout of the mid 90’s apple?

Many sites use loads of <blockquote> and <code> tags (or other types of block text tags) to house text. Most of these are inserted in a post, be it a forum, blog, or other post. Problem is, if there is a load of content in these blocks, it can quickly take over your whole post, and give users a never ending scrollbar. With 2 css properties, you can change this, without adding load to your server.

This is by no means nothing unique, but it is a feature which i am adding to benefit my readers. A new version of P-G-Qvm has been released today. Opera 9.2 was really quite good. It had features that could compare to Firefox3[1. Or at least the version avalible at the time], used less system resources, was faster, and looked better (when you themed it). Opera has had a beta out for a while, but what really enthralled me was the addition of Dragonfly.
