Qstat is a package that lets you ping game servers or game server masters, and retrieve information and data from them. Many linux packages have this installed by default, but it is quite rare on windows.

Installing it to function on windows exactly as it does on unix is quite easy.

There comes a time in every web developers life when he or she needs to make a directory listing. There are many ways to do this, and some of the most common are to either just use apache for a barebones one, or use php for a styled one. One of the flagship features of firefox3 is the new location bar. The new location bar shows a page name, url, and its bookmark status. The only problem is the paltry number of results it delivers.

You can increase the amount of results it finds with a few easy steps:

  1. Navigate to about:config
  2. In the filter box, type/paste the following
    browser.urlbar.maxRichResults
  3. Double click on the value that pops up, and enter the number of results you want to see.
  4. Restart your browser
