I spent all yesterday playing with the NXE, and I am quite impressed. It isn’t as good as expectations lead it to be, but few things are. All in all, apart from a few networking issues, it was a perfect update. The new features they added make it a faster console to use, and a fun-er console to use. Tasks that used to take many clicks now can be achieved almost instantaneously, and you can do far more in game far faster, so you spend less time changing your music track and more time gaming.

Gears of War 2 is a great game. Its a sequel to one of the classic games of the Xbox360, a game that filled the hole between Halo 2 and 3 for many people. Gears 2 is very fun, very pretty, and very different than the first one. The new engine makes things look gorgeous, but the multiplayer has fairly large flaws. The campaign is quite fun, and has lots of replay value.
Dead space is a fun game. A fun, gory game. Over the weekend, I rented and played through part of the game. While I did not finish it, I have gotten a good impression of the game.
The game is very entertaining, and, although difficult at times, proves very rewarding.

Opera 9.2 was really quite good. It had features that could compare to Firefox3[1. Or at least the version avalible at the time], used less system resources, was faster, and looked better (when you themed it). Opera has had a beta out for a while, but what really enthralled me was the addition of Dragonfly.
There are many app launchers out there, and I have blogged about them a few times before. I have found yet another, and this one seems to be the best I have tried. It is Find and Run Robot.
