Reddit menubar icons for adium
Adium is perhaps one of my most used apps on OS X. It lets me chat, and gets out of the way when i want it to. It isn’t bloated, and has a fairly great community of addons. So, here is my addition to that community.

To those who don’t know that is a menu bar addon for adium. It lets you make your menu bar look redditish.

Font change
This morning, I decided to change the font of my blog. Nothing significant, just getting out of the sea of helvetica. The font I use is provided via Google font service, and is the font Nobile. Personally, i think it looks perfect. Also, this is a chance to show off a new post style i made. Tiny updates of no significance will now get a little box of their own
New design time
After a few days of testing, its finally time for me to launch a new redesign. I know I do this about every 8 weeks, but hey, each design gets better, right? This design sought to move away from the gradient heavy designs i’ve been employing in my past 2 versions.
I work for reddit
Just a quick update, to make my blog look like its important in my day to day life. If you havn’t been following my twitter feed very closely, you probably dont know this. I now work for reddit.com. Exciting isnt it.

My favorite Android apps
The number of apps on android is swelling incredibly quickly, but, as with all platforms, it can be difficult to choose. Top 10 lists are a cliché, but they do serve a purpose, and I have found many useful apps on said lists. So, without further ado, I present to you my favorite Android apps, broken down into categories.
How SASS made my site better
Sass, or Syntactically Awesome StyleSheets, is a CSS interpreter. It lets you use advanced programming features in your Stylesheets, such as conditionals, functions, math, and other things, to aid in writing large, complex stylesheets. Sass can help tremendously when writing both advanced (CSS3) stylesheets, and even basic projects.
The design process for Reddit mobile
As you may have heard, reddit mobile launched today, at http://i.reddit.com. Reddit mobile is a specially designed version of the big reddit for mobile phones. It is more than just a custom stylesheet and a few other changes, it is a complete web app. Development on this app took approxamately 6 months, and it is only in beta. Keep reading this post for more info about the design process, ideas, and deleted content from the app.
Redesign in progress
Its that time of year again. I’m feeling like i want to redesign my site, and so, i am doing so.
This current design is nice and pretty, but, outside Webkit and firefox, it can actually get kind of ugly. I have been playing around with various alternative design styles, and some of them have piqued my interest.
So, simply put, a new design is coming. Why should you care about this?
Because I’m going to release my current design into the wordpress theme marketplace. I know many people have asked for this theme, and it would be a pleasure to release.
