I like playing Halo 3. I do it quite a bit. But one thing that seems really bothersome is the way Lone wolves plays. I do not enjoy it. The games seem stale and repeditive. There is no variation.

Avalanche is a port of Sidewinder, a Halo 1 map, in the new Halo 3 Legendary Map pack. It is a map set in snowy glaciers, and provides very entertaining gameplay. Read more for full review.
Blackout is a map in the Legendary Map Pack for Halo 3. It is a port of the Halo 2 map, Lockout. It is perhaps one of the most anticipated maps ever released by Bungie, and as such, deserves a complete review.
Ghost town is one of the new maps in the Legendary Map Pack, released yesterday (the 15th of April). It is a very interesting map, different than every other Halo 3 map. It bears some resemblance to maps of halo 2 and CE, but the gameplay is quite different. As the only new
map in the pack, it is quite interesting. Read the full review, including gameplay analysis, below.
Double XP
This was my first double xp weekend, in halo 3. This was Creeping Dead weekend [1. Aka. Zombies], and while I do like infection, i dislike the way bungie sets it up. The gameplay they seem to choose is fairy boring, tedious, and one sided. Either the zombies are overpowered, or the humans are. Generally, it leans to the zombies. Also, the various maps bungie uses aren’t exactly fun, and they seem to be the very basic most forge stuff, nothing advanced like over at forgehub. Also, betrayal penalties were enabled. While this is understandable, as people dislike being killed by a friend, games like Creeping rockets [2. Gametype in which the zombies are invisible and humans have lasers and rockets] are not fun, as you may see
a zombie, and shoot at it, only to accidentally kill a teammate. Generally, the person you betrayed will always boot you, even if you shout sorry!

New Map mullings
The new map release is approaching quite rapidly (tomorrow!), and excitement is building. Bungie has released a vidoc about it, in a machinima style. In said machinima, they joke around about several things, including the way that one forge filter makes the game look like gears of war.
Pricing
Many people have complained about the fact that bungie will be charging 800 MS points [3. $10US] for the maps, and has no plan to release the maps for free. People, bungie owns the IP rights for halo, but they do not own the sale rights. MS does. Microsoft still gets to set the pricing and other things. Also, bungie has to develop these maps, and that requires wages, bills, etc, and things to be payed. Finally, its only $10. Thats an hour and a half’s earnings at minimum wage. If you don’t have a job, you either need to stop playing halo and get one, or are too young to play halo.
I have been quite busy lately, and as such, I haven’t been able to update this site. Don’t worry though, i will update more in the future.
QVM
Development on the qvm continues. After having to fight with some major svn changes, i have made a stable revision (51), and this should be much easier to use and commit to.
Halo
Halo is fun, but i am not as addicted as i was earlier. The new maps look exciting, not for originality, but for the forge features they will add. Heres hoping they will be decent
Thats all i can spare for now, but more will come in the future.
Today, bungie posted news about various forge updates. These have me really excited. The first forge update [1. The previous update came out with the Heroic Map Pack, in December] featured lots of new geometry features, but very few new elements. Looks like bungie has changed that.
