Well, this is an important release of the qvm, because it features changes that will hopefully allow the qvm to appeal to more members of the community. 1.6.2 removes a number of the abusive commands[1. That is, !switch, !mix, !trade, !steal, !explode, !drug], and duplicates some of their functionality with non-abusible counterparts. Read on for details.

I have been quite busy lately, and as such, I haven’t been able to update this site. Don’t worry though, i will update more in the future.

QVM

Development on the qvm continues. After having to fight with some major svn changes, i have made a stable revision (51), and this should be much easier to use and commit to.

Halo

Halo is fun, but i am not as addicted as i was earlier. The new maps look exciting, not for originality, but for the forge features they will add. Heres hoping they will be decent

Thats all i can spare for now, but more will come in the future.

Well, today i applied and committed a number of patches to the p-g-qvm project. These have been compiled into a new release, 1.5.2

Some of the features that i am most excited about are chat channels and !flag.

Chat Channels

This feature shows great promise, because it lets users define extra chat channels, as well as using !seen to see when someone was last online. This feature is quite complex, so check out the wiki page on it.

!flag

This feature allows an admin to customize the flags that are given to individual admins. This is an INCREDIBLY powerful and useful command, and hopefully will be here for the long run.

The newest update also has several other features, so be sure to check out the complete changelog.

For those of you who want to download it, you can get it from the google code download page Here
