In the many times delayed Mercenaries 2 update for the Xbox360, 2 of the new playable characters have been revealed. Obama and Palin. While this is very likely official, it comes from G4, which has been known for jokes in the past. But the video clip is too realistic. Also highlighted in the video clip are new locations, new weapons, new vehicles, and new contracts.
Kotaku got their first hands-on in real life with the NXE, and they talked about some surprising details. Its nice to have an unbiased article about it. You will likely see several more, as the early preview has launched. Unfortunately, I was not one to receive an email, so you will not be getting one from here.
This Tuesday, the Mercenaries 2 update was supposed to come out. It did, but not in the sense in which i could use it. Pandemic, contrary to what they have previously said, did not release the Xbox360 update first, and the PS3 update later, rather, did an about face and released the PS3 update, with the Xbox360 update coming out “sometime in November.” This is the second time they have delayed the Xbox360 update, with no reason, but there is likely some internal reason.

At TGS, Microsoft has showcased many disputed features of the NXE. These include things such as Drive Loading[1], Avatars, and the marketplace interface.

Mercenaries 2 is a fun game. Plain and simple. But there are a few glaring omissions that, if repaired, would make it even better. Currently, it has very little replay value, depending on how you played it. If you took your time, you have pretty much done everything. If you didn’t, well you can probably play through it once more, but then you will loose interest.
Luckily, an update is coming out on the 13th for Xbox Live subscribers and later this month for the PS3.

Over at the gamerscore blog, they have released info about the way the games store will work on the new xbox360 experience.
Android, also known as the Google Phone, will be coming out sometime soon, Google is showing off signs right and left, and over this past week, they have released a whole pile of data about it. This includes some 3rd party apps that will be available out of the box, and do some pretty impressive things. Some of these things could change the entire way we use our Cell Phones, and even change how we act and behave.

Sorry to all you who read regularly, I havn’t updated in over a month, as i have been on vacation. Normal posting should return
In other news, you may notice the forums have dissapeared. This is because i got tired of spam accounts registering. Those of you who had old accounts can still use them on the site. I may relaunch the forums again with something else, but that is far in the future.
In the mean time, i have been playing a number of games, including Mass Effect, Geometry wars, and a few others. Reviews pending.
